The Bakersfield Turkey Day Run is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Bakersfield, CA at The Park at River Walk (11298 Stockdale). The event offers the following options:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk (Not Timed)
- Virtual Run
This is the 10th annual edition and is the second race in the Classic Holiday Run Series. A special discount for ages 9 and under is applied during registration. Donations collected at registration benefit the Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) Food Bank.
Logistics and extras
Packet pickup is available at F45 Seven Oaks, 9000 Ming Avenue, Ste. K9, Bakersfield, on Wednesday, November 25 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, with additional pickup on event morning starting at 7:00 am. The venue offers free parking. All participants receive a long sleeve Thanksgiving shirt and a finisher's medallion. Additional event features include donuts for finishers, age group awards for the 5k, an overall male and female prize purse, a Gobble & Strut contest, a costume/gobble contest, and a spirit award for the largest registered group.
