Bakersfield Hot Fudge Sundae Run
The Bakersfield Hot Fudge Sundae Run takes place on Saturday June 6, 2026 at The Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, CA 93311. The event offers road race and walk options at the park location.

Participants receive an event shirt, a custom finisher's medallion, and a hand made hot fudge sundae prepared to order. A post race area provides a selection of toppings including ice cream, brownies, hot fudge, whipped cream, cherries, nuts, sprinkles and candies, plus music and awards. Strollers are welcome and dogs are not permitted.
The 5k is a timed event; the 1 Mile Walk is non timed. Awards include age group awards paid three deep for the timed 5k, a largest group award, and a Top Topping Contest for costume or topping-themed entries. Age group categories for the timed 5k start at 10 and under and continue in standard brackets through 80 and over.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday June 5 with exact pickup times to be announced. The event lists Kern County Youth & Family Resource Centers as its charity partner.
