Bagel & A Schmear 5K Presented by Heart & Sole Sports
This event is a community 5K run and a Kids K offering a family-oriented morning at Kaufman's Coffee & Bagels in Albuquerque. Post race offerings include bagels and schmear and a finisher's flower for mothers. A custom race shirt is provided to participants.

Registration features tiered fees for the 5K: $35 until April 12, 2026; $40 until April 20, 2026; $45 thereafter through final registration. The Kids K fee is $10. The field is capped at 500 runners. Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for May 8 and May 9 at Heart & Sole Sports, with race day pick-up available at Kaufman's Coffee & Bagels.
Proceeds benefit Locker #505, a 501(c)(3) student clothing bank that provides school clothing to K-12 students in the Greater Albuquerque Metro area, including select surrounding counties. The organization maintains a student-focused facility where children can try on and choose clothing.
Awards include cash prizes for overall male and female winners and gift cards for top finishers and masters, with additional age group prizes through 70 plus. Overall awards are scored by gun time and age group awards by chip time. Event rules prohibit roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets, and headphones on the race course.
