Bad Beard Events Oli Kai
The Oli Kai event is a timed trail event at Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, using trails within the site's 317-acre property. The course for all options is a 2.1-mile loop with about 190 feet of elevation gain.
Participants choose how to use their allotted time and may run, walk, or skip loops. The event offers three durations:
- 3 hours
- 6 hours
- 9 hours
Organizers provide an aid station on course and allow participants to set up their own support in the start/finish area. For 2026 the event is partnering with Wild Trails; camping on Friday and/or Saturday night, a campfire concert and food are part of the weekend plans, followed by a separate Oli Via event on Sunday with a 5K or half marathon and a post-event breakfast.
Packet pickup is available at an early pickup location on the Friday before the event and at the start/finish on race day. Registration is online only; there is no walk-up registration. No refunds are offered and race numbers may not be transferred to another person. A portion of event proceeds will go to Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center.
