Event Format

This is a backyard ultra event held on private land at Chilton Manor Farm in Hampshire. The format requires participants to run a 4.16-mile loop in under one hour. When a lap is completed, the remaining time is for recovery before the next loop begins. There is no predefined finish distance or time. The event continues until only one runner completes a loop; all others are recorded as "Did Not Finish."

The Route

The trail loop starts and finishes at the northern edge of Godsfield Copse. The varied terrain includes field sidings, woodland paths, and some gravel track. It passes the trig point on Bugmore Hill, with the highest point at Godsfield Copse. The total elevation gain/loss per lap is approximately 120 meters. The route is marked.

Event Facilities

The event camp provides camping for tents or vans from Friday through Sunday. Facilities include a fuel station with food and drink, a water station on the route, toilets, hot water for drinks, and 24/7 medical support. Hot food is available for purchase. There is also a campfire area for participants and supporters.

Additional Information

The event is a Bronze Ticket approved event within the Global Backyard Ultra Community. Participants receive a bespoke finisher's medal and badge. Event photography is provided. A one-off winner's prize is valued at £100. The organization promotes sustainability through cupless water stations, shoe recycling, and sustainable medals.
