The Back of the Yards 5K Turkey Run is a 5-kilometer run/walk held in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago on November 9, 2025. The course starts at the historic Union Stockyards Gate and runs through the Stockyard Industrial Park and surrounding neighborhood. Race packets include a commemorative event t-shirt, a timed bib, and a medal. Post-race refreshments listed for participants include coffee, champurrado, tamales, and pan dulce. The event organizer is the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council.

Posted registration pricing for the 5K shows a fee of $34.09 with separate listings of Adults $30 and Children 12 years and under $15; prices are noted as inclusive of mandatory charges. Packet pickup takes place at Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council, 4555 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, IL 60609, on Thursday, November 6, 2025 and Friday, November 7, 2025. Transportation notes recommend ride sharing, carpooling, or public transit. The #8 Halsted bus stops at Exchange Ave and Halsted St, about one short block east of the start/finish, and street parking is available near the start/finish.
