Bacchus Wine Half Marathon & 10K
The Bacchus Wine event combines running with food, music and wine at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking. It is presented as a fun-run style race while retaining standard race services: an accurate, well-marked course, chip timing, a finisher medal and full medical support.
The route weaves through Denbies Vineyard and sections of the North Downs. The terrain is scenic and hilly, with some narrow, single-file sections; fast times are described as difficult. Along the course there are refreshment and wine stations and food stops, plus a finish area with post-race food and entertainment. Reviews note variable availability at some aid stations and suggestions for more water and more toilets.
Practical arrangements are on site at the vineyard. Competitor and spectator parking is provided within the estate across two main car parks and an overflow area, with free parking and an approximate five-minute walk to the start and finish area. The venue is also reachable on foot from nearby stations: Dorking Station is under 1 km and Box Hill & Westhumble Station is under 2 km from the estate.
