Babcock Run to Remember 5K Run or Walk
The Babcock Run to Remember is a scenic 3.1 mile community run and walk held on May 23, 2026 in Babcock Ranch, Florida. The course runs on paved roads and sidewalks and starts and finishes at Explorers Park near the Veterans Memorial Roundabout. The route passes through residential areas and community spaces and is described as spectator friendly.
There are timed and untimed walking only options. Chip timing is provided for the timed event. Finisher medals are awarded to all participants. Overall awards for top male and female are based on gun time, with additional age-based special categories for Master 40 plus, Grand Master 50 plus, and Senior Grand Master 60 plus. Top three male and female age group awards are offered across standard age brackets from 9 and under up to 80 plus.
Event logistics include water stations at the halfway point and the finish line, rest rooms at Explorers Park, and parking in the park with overflow along Babcock Trail. Early packet pickup is May 21 and 22 at the Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office. Race day pickup and on site registration occur at the Explorers Park Pavilion; credit or Apple Pay is accepted for race morning payment and cash is not accepted. Shirt size guarantee requires registration by May 15, 2026.
This event is part of the Babcock Ranch Summer Race Series, which includes additional 5K races in July and September. A series discount reduces the price by five dollars per race when registering for two or all three races. Local running clubs may use a unique coupon code for a ten percent discount; coupon codes cannot be combined with age based pricing or the series discount.
