Babcock Helensburgh 10K
The Babcock Helensburgh 10K is the final race of the Babcock 10K series and takes place on 28 May 2026 at Hermitage Academy, Cardross Road, Helensburgh, G84 7LA. The event is organised by Helensburgh AAC and holds a Scottish Athletics permit.
The course is a single circuit that takes in much of the Victorian seaside resort. It is largely flat and described as fast. The route uses full road closures to provide an entirely traffic free course, and the roads are quiet and well marshalled.
The race starts and finishes at Hermitage Academy, which provides facilities for car parking, changing, toilets, showers, catering and prize presentations. The series offers a total of £6,000 in prizes for leading individuals. Each race includes a commemorative medal, a goody bag with running accessories, a piece of Babcock 10K merchandise and spot prizes provided by Start Fitness.
