B-INSPIRED 5K
The B-INSPIRED 5K is the second annual community running event at The Iowa Arboretum in Madrid, Iowa, located at 1875 Peach Ave. The event includes a main 5K and a short Kids Dash for young children, and it is presented as family and kid friendly.

The 5K registration fee is $35 and the Kids Dash registration fee is $10. 5K registration opens 2026-04-18 and closes 2026-05-03. Kids Dash registration opens 2026-04-18 and closes on the day of the event.
Children under 10 may walk the 5K for free. Participants over age 10 must register for the 5K. Kids Dash registration does not include an event t-shirt; shirts must be added during registration if desired.
Awards for the event include 1st place Men and Women in the 5K and 1st overall Kid under 18. Food and beverage options on site include cheese at the finish, breakfast burritos from Weather or Naut Catering, and a paid coffee truck. The event also supports the B-Inspired Scholarship, to be awarded to a Boone High School senior who shows drive, creativity, and passion for their future.
