The event takes place at Ravine Gardens State Park and follows a paved USATF measured 2 mile loop through a ravine with towering oaks, native Florida plantings, wildlife, and several historical landmarks. The route includes winding curves and a few hills and offers notable photo opportunities.

Race rules specify strict cutoffs for distance events: the 50 mile has a 15 hour cutoff and the 50K has a 10 hour cutoff. Tents and canopies may be set up on race day only; participants are expected to keep their areas clean. Solo non-crewed runners have a few reserved spaces, with remaining spaces allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Aid stations will provide staple foods and hot items such as soups, sandwiches, and quesadillas; organizers will attempt to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. A hydration table will be available for marked personal bottles and bottle fills will be provided near the race start/finish area while runners pass the turn.
Personal lighting is mandatory for nighttime running; headlamps or handheld lights are required. Professional timing is provided with continuous data backups.
