Event Overview
The Azalea 12/24 Hour event takes place at the Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka, Florida. The course is situated within a historic landscape featuring native plants, local wildlife, and various historical landmarks. Runners travel through a ravine area under a canopy of large oak trees.
Course Details
Participants run on a 2 mile loop that is paved and USATF measured. The route includes several winding curves and some hills. Because parts of the event take place after dark, all participants are required to carry personal lighting, such as headlamps or handheld lights.

- 24 hours
- 12 hours
- 50 Miler
- 50K
Support and Amenities
The event features an aid station providing staple foods and hot items, including soups, sandwiches, and quesadillas. Runners may request specific hot food to be prepared for their subsequent laps. A dedicated hydration station is available where participants can have their personal marked bottles refilled.
Professional timing services are provided to track laps and distances throughout the duration of the event. Participants are permitted to set up tents or canopies on the day of the race, with specific areas reserved for solo runners without crews. The park is located near the city of Palatka, providing access to local stores and lodging within a 5 mile distance.
Specific Requirements
