Event overview
The Autumn Harvest event is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Turkey Bend Recreation Area, 4000 Shaw Dr., Marble Falls, TX 78654. The event program includes a full marathon, half marathon, a 12-hour endurance challenge, a 10K and a 5K. The 12-hour event is a continuous endurance challenge with no set distance; the winner is determined by total miles covered and aid stations are provided. Registration includes a finisher medal and custom challenge coins that participate in the Race Austin Series coin-exchange program.
Course and logistics
Courses run on the trails of Turkey Bend along Lake Travis and include rolling terrain with moderate elevation changes, a mix of single-track and wider trails, and viewpoints overlooking Lake Travis. Night and low-light sections are marked with reflective trail markers and glow sticks. Park entry fees are required for non-registered spectators and support crews. Packet pickup is available at the Turkey Bend Recreation Area on race day. Organizers note weather contingency options that may include moving the event, postponement, or conversion to a virtual option. Night-running requirements specified for participants include a headlamp with fresh batteries, a backup light source recommended, reflective clothing or vest, a personal hydration system, and a cell phone for emergency communications.
