Course and safety
Courses run on the trails of Turkey Bend on Lake Travis, featuring rolling terrain with moderate elevation changes and a mix of single-track and wider trails. Marathon and half-marathon routes include viewpoints overlooking Lake Travis and autumn foliage. Night or dark-hour running sections are marked with reflective trail markers and glow sticks. Participants running during dark hours must have a headlamp (required), a backup light source (recommended), reflective clothing or a vest, a personal hydration system, and a cell phone for emergency communications. Aid stations will be stocked along the course.
Registration and logistics
Registration includes a finisher medal and custom challenge coins. The coins are part of a collector series that allows exchanging three same-tier coins from different events for a complimentary race entry of the same tier. Packet pickup is available on race day at Turkey Bend Recreation Area. Parking is available at the venue. Non-registered spectators and support crews must pay the Turkey Bend Recreation Area park entry fee; spectator passes can be purchased in advance through the race store.
