2026 Autism Society of the Heartland 5K/1K Fun Run
The Autism Society of the Heartland 5K/1K Fun Run is scheduled for April 4, 2026 at Aspiria, the former Sprint campus in Overland Park, Kansas. The event offers opportunities to run or walk a 5K or a 1K course on the Aspiria campus and includes a vendor and resource fair at the finish area to showcase organizations that offer services and support for families affected by autism.

Registered 5K in-person participants receive chip timing. All finishers of the 5K and 1K will receive a finishers medal. Participants are eligible to order a t-shirt separately from the race registration fee. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 3 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at a site to be determined; same-day packet pickup is available with a recommended early arrival.
The event benefits people connected to the autism community in Kansas and Missouri. It is planned as an all weather run or walk and will proceed unless the race director determines conditions are unsafe, in which case the event will be cancelled. No refunds will be given.
