This is a cupless event. Aid stations provide water only; participants must carry their own hydration device such as a handheld or hydration vest to receive fluids on course. Finish-line provisions include cold fizzy water, soda, and light snacks.
Course management notes: distinctive flagging will mark the route and markings will be explained at the pre-race briefing. Alternate courses may be used if trails are closed. Runners are responsible for safe road crossings and for following the marked course. Rules include no poles except by exemption, no alcohol in county parks, and packed-out litter. Dogs are allowed if leashed and cleaned up after. Personal music is permitted with headphones at a safe volume. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire race.
Awards include first through third podiums for women, men, and non-binary divisions and a handmade finishers award specific to this stage. All registrants receive a special piece of swag; athletes who complete all six races in the series earn an additional special finishers award.
