Event Overview
The Autism Color Fun Run/Walk is an untimed athletic event held in Carterville, Illinois. The activity takes place at John A. Logan College and is centered around a 1 mile course designed for participants of all ages. The event emphasizes community participation over competition, allowing individuals to complete the distance at their own pace, whether jogging or walking.
The primary feature of the event is the use of colored powder. Participants are encouraged to start the course wearing white clothing. Along the route, there are designated stations where bright bursts of color are applied to those passing by. By the time participants reach the finish line, they are covered in a variety of colors from these stations.
