About the race
The Austin Solstice Circuit Challenge is a multi-distance running event held July 17–18, 2027 at Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis in Spicewood, Texas. The course is a paved 1.64 mile figure-8 lollipop loop with smooth asphalt, gentle elevation, and scenic views of limestone bluffs, oak-covered hills, and Lake Travis. Aid is available at the start/finish hub every loop and the course is marked with reflective markers for night visibility. Distances offered include: - 52.7 miles, 32 loops - 50K (31.0 miles), 19 loops - Marathon (26.35 miles), 16 loops - 27K (16.4 miles), 10 loops - Half Marathon (13.1 miles), 8 loops - 10K (6.4 miles), 4 loops - 5K (3.2 miles), 2 loops - 12 hour solo and 12 hour relay for two person teams The marathon course is USATF certified (code TX25015LAB).
Personal pacers are permitted: Marathon and 50K runners may add one pacer after about 8 loops; 52.7 mile runners may add one to three pacers after about 16 loops. Each pacer must register and pay a $15 fee, sign a waiver, and wear an official pacer bib. The 12 hour relay is an overnight two person format with all transitions at the main timing mat; teams are limited to two runners and one vehicle per team.
