Event overview
The Austin Solstice Circuit Challenge takes place July 25-26, 2026 at Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis in Spicewood, TX (2805 Pace Bend Road North, 78669). The event uses a 1.64-mile figure-8 paved loop that runs through limestone bluffs, oak-covered hills, and along views of Lake Travis. The course surface is fully paved asphalt with minimal elevation gain per loop and reflective markers for nighttime visibility. The marathon course is USATF certified, code TX25015LAB.

Course features and logistics
Aid is available at the start/finish hub, providing access every 1.64 miles. The course is fully marked and intended for continuous lap access. Packet pickup is available both the day before the main races and on race morning. Amenities listed include a fully stocked aid station, toilet vault restrooms, on-site camping (first-come, first-served), and multiple parking areas. All finishers receive a medal and a custom challenge coin.
Pacing and volunteering
Personal pacers are allowed for the marathon, 50K, and 52.7 mile solo events; pacers join participants at specified midrace loop points and must pay a fee, sign a waiver, and wear an official pacer bib. Volunteers receive an event t-shirt and other perks; a volunteer runner program offers a free Sunday race entry for participants who complete the required Saturday shift.
