Austin Distance Challenge 2026–2027
The Austin Distance Challenge is a five-race series in Austin, TX spanning the 2026–2027 season. The series offers four track options: Full, Half, Sprint, and Mixed Track, with a series registration fee shown as $95 for each track option. The five scheduled events run from October 18, 2026 through February 14, 2027 and include Daisy Dash, Run for the Water, Decker Challenge, Spurs Austin International Half, and the Austin Marathon weekend.
Track formats are defined by distance choices across the series. The Full Track completes the longest distance at each race and culminates with the Austin Marathon. The Half Track completes the longest distances for the first four races and finishes with the Austin Half Marathon. The Sprint Track centers on shorter races and a half marathon relay. The Mixed Track allows a combination of in-person and virtual races.
Participant benefits include a choice of short sleeve tee or crop top from the T-shirt sponsor, a six-piece cut-out magnet and a DC wristband, access to a dedicated DC tent with snacks and meetups, and coaching support from Vertis Coaching. Results are displayed on a live leaderboard across all five races; virtual race results count toward participation but do not count toward leaderboard standings or finisher prizes. End-of-series rewards include custom finisher jackets for Full and Half Track finishers and a special edition DC water bottle for Sprint and Mixed Track finishers. Registration for each race is completed individually to receive discounted pricing and remain eligible for finisher rewards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
