Austerlitz Trail
The Austerlitz Trail is based at the KNVB Campus in the Staatsbossen near Zeist on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Routes start and finish at the campus and run directly into the surrounding forest via specially opened gates near the training fields.
All loops are approximately 10 km each and participants may choose to run one, two or three loops. The trails pass through mixed forest, old lanes, open spots and sections of heather, and include some elevation changes with short climbs and single track sections. The route runs up to the border with the Bornia nature area.
Practical information is provided on site at a central basecamp where the start, finish and the main refreshment point are located. Routes are fully waymarked with arrows and tape. There is a refreshment point at the start and finish after each loop. Standard tickets do not include a medal; medals can be ordered as an extra and may be available for purchase on the day if stock remains. Participants should bring their own racecup since no cups are provided.
The event is organised by Trail Events with partners including KNVB Campus, Staatsbosbeheer and Gemeente Zeist. The scheduled date is 08.05.2027 to 09.05.2027 but this is subject to confirmation because of campus availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
