Austerlitz Trail

About the race

Austerlitz Trail starts and finishes at the KNVB Campus, located in the Staatsbossen near Zeist on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The event date is scheduled for 08.05.2027 to 09.05.2027 but is subject to the availability of the KNVB Campus. The route concept is based on three loops of about 10 km each. Participants choose to run one, two or three loops; the order of the loops is determined on the day of the event.

All loops are fully waymarked with arrows and tape. The trails run through mixed forest, old laneways and open spots, reach the border with the Bornia nature area, include single tracks and sections of heather, and have some height differences with climbs. Practical information: the KNVB Campus functions as a basecamp with the start, finish and the main aid station. There is a refreshment point after each lap at the start / finish location.

There are no disposable cups provided, so participants must bring their own racecup. A start block of one hour is printed on tickets; within that hour participants may begin their first loop. Participants receive additional event information by email about one week before the event. Extras: a Pop up Trailrunning Shop is present at the event offering trail gear.

Event medals are not included in the standard ticket and can be ordered as an extra; if stock allows they may be purchased on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
