Aussie Peace Walk - MarchMingle 2027
The Aussie Peace Walk, presented as the MarchMingle International Walking Festival, is a non-competitive two-day walking festival in Canberra that brings together local and international participants for shared walks, social functions, and intercultural exchange. The event is headquartered at the National Film and Sound Archives and includes an official flag parade and opening ceremony on 19 March 2027.
The program features multiple route options over two days. Several longer routes follow trails through bushland and sections on hard surfaces. For selected walks the entry fee includes bus transfer to the start point and the event finishes at the Event HQ. The festival also offers social functions including a closing ceremony and farewell function hosted at a nearby hotel.
The MarchMingle is a project of LifeSmith Pty Ltd, a profit-for-purpose entity that supports Australian Rotary Clubs and their fundraising activities for community health. Past editions have included international participants and fundraising partnerships that support local charities.
