Auld Lang Syne

The Daleside Auld Lang Syne Fell Race is a traditional New Year's Eve event held at Penistone Hill, featuring a challenging 6.7-mile course with 1,000 feet of ascent and descent. Runners often enjoy the festive atmosphere, with many donning fancy dress. The race begins at the quarry bottom and includes muddy trails, bogs, and a stream crossing.

Participants receive a bottle of Daleside Old Legover beer upon collecting their race number.
