Auckland Duathlon Championships - Māngere Bridge
The Auckland Duathlon Championships take place on Sunday 20 September 2026 at Māngere Bridge and Ambury Regional Park. The event is a sprint-distance run bike run format with multiple categories including the Triathlon New Zealand national age group championships, New Zealand Schools championships, open races and team events. The sprint distance is a qualifying event for the 2027 World Triathlon Multisport Championships; Triathlon New Zealand eligibility rules apply for national selection.
The event hub is at the Manukau Yacht and Motorboat Club and the courses use flat coastal walkways and quiet local roads around the Manukau Harbour. Race organisation is provided by Auckland City Triathlon Club with support from volunteers and local authorities.
Entries are handled through the GameDay platform. Non affiliated club members will be charged a one-day race licence to cover insurance and affiliation. All athletes must collect race packs either the day before or on event day. A late entry fee of an additional $15 applies after online entries close. Prize giving is scheduled after racing and athletes must be present to receive major prizes.
