Auburn Hills 5K
The Auburn Hills 5K is a single-distance running event held in downtown Auburn Hills, Michigan on October 3, 2026. The course begins and ends in the downtown area and passes local streets and business locations. The event is organized to benefit the Auburn Hills Rec Center.
The host location and main sponsor is Common Roots Cafe at 3358 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills. Packet pick-up takes place at Common Roots Cafe on October 2, 2026, with on-site pickup available during the posted packet pick-up hours. Organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the race start.
Registration opens June 24, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. Entry includes a race bib, a 4 inch finisher medal for all participants, and a dri fit tech shirt available in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
The event features an awards component in the form of a costume contest with separate categories for individual and partner costumes. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Auburn Hills Rec Center. Local businesses are involved in hosting and supporting the event.
