Endurance Multi-Terrain Challenge
The ATW Odyssey12 is a 12-hour endurance event held at Riverside Park in St Neots. Participants navigate a flat 5.3 km lap consisting of multi-terrain footpaths. The event is part of the ATW First to Full Triathlon Festival, which hosts multiple sporting events simultaneously at Regatta Meadow.
The objective of the run is to complete as many laps as possible within the 12-hour duration. The course is designed for high spectator engagement, featuring a dedicated cheer station known as the 'Tent of Enlightenment' that runners pass through on every lap. This area provides food, drink, music, and seating for both participants and supporters.
Athletes can participate in several categories:
- Solo (Male or Female)
- Pairs (Male, Female, or Mixed)
- Teams (3 to 6 members, mixed)
The venue offers a variety of amenities including live entertainment, children's activities, and space for team tents. The event village is located a short distance from St Neots town centre. Camping spots for cars and campervans are available on-site for Friday and Saturday nights. All participants who complete the event receive a unique medal. Awards are presented for the furthest distances covered in each category and for the fastest individual laps.
Race packs are available for collection on-site either the day before the event or on the morning of the run. The organizers permit entry transfers to future events up to 48 hours before the start time in the event of injury or other circumstances.
