ATW Box End Triathlon
ATW Box End Triathlon is organised by Active Training World and takes place at Box End Lakes, Box End Road, Bedford MK43 8RN on 23 May 2027. The event features multiple race distances held around Box End Lake with open-water swimming and on-site run routes.
The race distances are:
- Sprint: 750m swim, 26km bike, 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
- Centurion: 2250m swim, 80km bike, 20km run
The venue is described as having clear water and a scenic run route. The course is non-draft legal and runs on multiple laps, which creates repeated spectator viewing points. Entry options include aquabike and relay teams of two to three participants. Camping is available at Box End Park for weekend stays.
Categories include a Female category for athletes assigned female at birth and an Open category for other athletes, effective from 1 January 2023. There are no applicable cutoffs for the Sprint and Standard distances when run alongside the 100k event. Estimated completion times provided for guidance are approximately 1 hour 15 for the Sprint winner and up to 3 hours for later finishers, and approximately 2 hours 20 for the Standard winner and up to 4 hours 45 for later finishers.
