ATW Bedford 10k & Half Marathon
The ATW Bedford 10k & Half Marathon is scheduled for 1 November 2026 at Russell Park, Bedford. The event is organised by ATW Events and offers separate 10 km and half marathon distances.
The one-lap 10 km course starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment, runs out toward Town Bridge, follows the River Ouse to Priory Park, includes a circuit of Priory Lake, and returns to the Embankment. The half marathon covers a second lap with a small extension to reach the accurate 21.1 km distance. The route uses traffic-free tarmac and firm paths, with under 50 m of elevation across the 10 km and about 100 m across the half marathon. The course has kilometre markers for the 10 km and mile markers for the half marathon.

Event support includes warm-ups led by personal trainers, a professional commentator at the finish, on-site catering, custom-designed medals, free event photos, and finish-line snacks. A free Family Fun Run takes place before the main races; it is open to all ages, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult, it is not chip-timed and no results are recorded, and all children receive a medal. The event lists Alzheimer’s Research UK as a charity partner and offers opportunities to donate and fundraise.
Entry fees listed are £33 for the 10 km and £41 for the half marathon. The organiser does not offer refunds or transfers to another person but permits transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the original event without requiring proof.
