About the race
Atlanta Technical College presents its 6th Annual 5K Walk/Run and Health Fair on the college campus at 1560 Metropolitan Parkway in South Atlanta, Georgia. The event marks the college's 60th anniversary and features a 3.1 Miles running distance with a finishing medal issued to participants.
The program is centered on wellness in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Emotional Wellness Month. Attendees and spectators can access a range of free health, wellness, and community resources, including breast cancer awareness information and support resources, mental health and personal wellness guidance, nutrition counseling and healthy lifestyle education, stretching demonstrations and therapeutic chair massages, free blood pressure screenings, flu shots and other preventive health services, transplant education and specialty pharmacy resources, voter registration assistance, opioid awareness education and Narcan information, and dental health education and oral care resources.
