ATHX Glasgow 2026
The ATHX Glasgow 2026 takes place at the Scottish Event Campus on the 20th and 21st of June 2026. This event is a continuous fitness competition lasting 2.5 hours. Participants move through six distinct zones designed to test different physical attributes, including strength, endurance, and functional fitness.
The competition layout includes several functional areas:
- Warm-Up Zone: A space dedicated to mobilization and activation.
- Strength Zone: A dedicated area for lifting movements.
- Refuel Zone: A station for hydration and recovery.
- Endurance Zone: A section focused on sustained, high-output work.
- Recovery Zone: An area utilizing recovery technology for post-exercise reset.
- MetCon X Zone: A final functional fitness test on the competition floor.
Participants can enter as individuals or in pairs. Pairings are available for male, female, or mixed teams. There are three specific categories of competition:
- ATHX
- ATHX Pro
- ATHX Lite
The venue is located in Glasgow and is accessible via the M8 motorway, though a Low Emission Zone charge may apply depending on the route. The campus is also served by the X19 Stagecoach bus service and is connected via rail to Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street stations.
