Asylum Pride House 2026 Welcome Walk
Asylum Pride House will hold a Welcome Walk on 10/17/2026 at 610 River Fields Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The event features a 5K course routed around The Ott Center indoor track at UPenn and is organized to raise funds and show support for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers in Philadelphia.
Registration opens on July 27, 2026 and closes on August 31, 2026. The registration fee is $20 through the end of August and increases to $30 afterward. All registered participants receive a Welcome Walk 2026 T-shirt and a personal fundraising page; fundraising is optional and participation as or on a team is possible.
On event day a tent will be set up near picnic area A. Parking and the check-in tent are located at the park entrance on Pattison Ave and S 20th Street. There is parking in and around the park but spaces are not guaranteed. The organizer will accept individual donations, fundraising, and contributions of cleaning or housing supplies to the drive on walk day.
