Asifiwe 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk: 9th Annual
The 9th Annual Asifiwe 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk is a fundraising event on September 19, 2026, at Tyler Park's Center for the Arts in Richboro, Pennsylvania. The 5k is a loop that starts and ends at the Center for the Arts. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Medals are also planned for the top male and female in these age categories: 9 & under; 10-12; 13-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 & up. Walkers are noted to have no hills on the fun walk. Pets are welcome on a leash.
Registration is open to ages 6 and up. Posted registration fees include adult and youth rates with reduced early registration pricing and an additional fee for day of registration. T shirts are only guaranteed for those registered by August 16. All registrants receive a raffle ticket for event-day giveaways. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine. Parking is limited and volunteers will direct parking to the field adjacent to the art center. Food, face painting, balloon artists, and other family activities are listed among event amenities.
