Event

Ashford Pride 5k is a 5-kilometre run on 22 June 2026 organised by Sporting Events UK in partnership with Pride Ashford. The event is presented as a community run to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Every finisher receives a special medal. There will be refreshments, music and live commentary, and results are published via a live feed on the event website.

Route and prizes

The route starts at Elwick Place in Ashford, heads to Victoria Park and returns to the start. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, and for 1st male and female in VET40, VET50 and VET60 categories.

Entry, age and facilities

Advanced entry fees are £16 for affiliated club members and £18 for unaffiliated entrants. On-the-day entry may be available subject to space at £25. Advanced entries close at 5pm the Tuesday before the event. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 5k is 11 years on the day. Venue facilities include bag drop, toilets and a free car park.
