Ashford Pride 5k
Ashford Pride 5k is a five kilometre road run returning for 2026 after a first edition in 2025. The event is organised in partnership with Pride Ashford and takes place as part of Pride weekend to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
The course starts at Elwick Place in Ashford, follows a route to Victoria Park and returns to the start. Every finisher receives a special medal. Organisers provide refreshments, music and commentary, and a live feed will publish results as runners finish.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, and for 1st male and female in VET40, VET50 and VET60 age categories. Facilities at the venue include a bag drop, toilets and a free car park.
Entry options are listed for the single distance 5k: advanced entries are priced at £16 for affiliated club members and £18 for unaffiliated entrants. On the day entry is possible subject to space at a fee of £25. Advanced entries remain open until 5pm the Tuesday before the event. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 5k is 11 years on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
