Ashford Pride 5k

The Ashford Pride 5k is an evening running event organized in partnership with Pride Ashford. The route begins at Elwick Place in Ashford, proceeds toward Victoria Park, and returns to the starting point. The 5k course is open to participants of various abilities, including both runners and walkers.

The event features several participant services and amenities:

5 km - Open to those aged 11 and over on the day.

Participants receive a commemorative medal upon finishing. The race includes music, commentary, and refreshments such as cakes or doughnuts. Results are provided via a live feed, allowing participants to see their times immediately after crossing the finish line. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as the first male and female in the VET40, 50, and 60 categories.

Venue facilities include a bag drop area, toilets, and a free car park located near the start. Advanced registration is available until the Tuesday before the event, with an increased fee for entries on the day if space permits.
