Event overview

The Aldi Ashby 20 is a not-for-profit road race organised by Ivanhoe Runners. The race distance is 20 miles over an undulating 2-lap scenic route, mainly on closed roads. The venue is Bath Grounds, Station Street, Ashby de la Zouch, LE65 2GP. Pre-race headquarters and changing facilities are at Ashby Leisure Centre, LE65 1HU. Entries, cut-offs and rules

Entries open on 27 October 2025 and close on 10 February 2026. The minimum age is 18. Entry fees are listed as UKA member £40.00 and non-member £42.00. Maximum field is 1500 runners, with initial entries up to 1700 to allow for withdrawals. Withdrawals may receive a refund minus a £5 admin fee until 8 February 2026; deferrals and number swaps are not permitted.

Strict cut-off times apply to support road reopening: 10-mile cut-off at 2 hours 20 minutes and 15-mile cut-off at 3 hours 30 minutes, measured by gun time. The finish allowance is roughly 4 hours 45 minutes. Earphones are not allowed except bone conducting headphones and medically prescribed hearing devices. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Visually impaired runners may arrange a free guide entry by contacting the organisers.
