Event

The ALDI Ashby 20 is a 20 mile road race held on Sunday 22 March 2026. The course is an undulating two-lap scenic route run mainly on closed roads. The race venue is Bath Grounds, Station Street, Ashby de la Zouch LE65 2GL. Pre-race headquarters and changing facilities are at Ashby Leisure Centre and Lido, LE65 1HU. The event is organised by Ivanhoe Runners as a not-for-profit event and supports charities including Teenage Cancer Trust, Heartwize for Runners, Hospice Hope and Wishes 4 Kids. The race holds a UKA licence (number 30173) and course measurement number 25/435. Event capacity is 1,500 runners (initial entries up to 1,700).

Entries, rules and race information

All entrants must be aged 18 or over. Entry fees listed are £40 for UKA members and £42 for non-members. Entries opened Monday 27 October 2025 and close Tuesday 10 February 2026; the event list is shown as full. Withdrawals receive a refund minus a £5 admin fee if made by midnight on Sunday 8 February 2026; deferrals and number swaps are not permitted and there is no waiting list. Two strict cut-off points apply: 10 miles at 2 hours 20 minutes and 15 miles at 3 hours 30 minutes, equating to an approximate 4 hours 45 minutes finish limit. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Personal audio is not allowed except bone-conducting headphones or prescribed hearing devices.
