About the race
The Aldi Ashby 20 is a not‑for‑profit 20‑mile road race in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, organized by Ivanhoe Runners. Established in 1988, it attracts runners using it for spring marathon training or personal challenge. The route operates on local roads under a temporary road closure order, with strict cut‑off times at key points: 10 miles in 2:20, 15 miles in 3:30, and the finish in about 4:45 (gun times, not chip times).
