Event details
The ALDI Ashby 20 is a 20-mile road race held on Sunday 22nd March 2026. The course is an undulating two-lap route, described as scenic and run mainly on closed roads. Pre-race headquarters are at Ashby Leisure Centre and Lido (LE65 1HU). The race venue/finish area is at the Bath Grounds, Station Road, Ashby de la Zouch (LE65 2GP). The event is organised by Ivanhoe Runners and holds a UK Athletics licence (UKA Licence #30173). Course measurement number is 25/435. All finishers receive an Ashby 20 hoodie and a goody bag.
Entries, rules and cut-offs
Entries open in October 2025 and close in February 2026. Entry fees listed are £40.00 for UKA members and £42.00 for non-members. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Maximum field is 1500 runners (initial entries up to 1700 to allow for withdrawals); there will be no waiting list. Withdrawals are refundable, minus a £5 administration fee, until 8th February 2026; deferrals and number swaps are not permitted.
The event enforces strict cut-offs: 10 miles - 2 hours 20 minutes; 15 miles - 3 hours 30 minutes; overall allowance equates roughly to 4 hours 45 minutes for the full course. Earphones are prohibited except bone-conducting devices and medically prescribed hearing aids. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
