ALDI Ashby 20

The ALDI Ashby 20 is a not for profit 20 mile road race organised by Ivanhoe Runners. The 2026 race takes place on Sunday 22 March and uses a two lap, undulating scenic route that is mainly on closed roads. The race is conducted under UK Athletics rules and holds UKA licence number 30173; the course measurement number is 25/435.

Pre race headquarters are at Ashby Leisure Centre and Lido. The main race venue is the Bath Grounds, Station Road, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire. The event limits entries to a maximum field and has a maximum of 1500 runners for the race.

All entrants must be aged 18 or over. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs and use of earphones is restricted to bone conducting headphones and medically prescribed hearing devices. Visually impaired runners requiring a guide may request a free entry invite for their guide once they have entered.

Strict cut off times apply at key points on the course to allow the timely reopening of public highways. Official cut off points are: 10 miles in 2 hours 20 minutes, 15 miles in 3 hours 30 minutes, with the overall event finish time equating to around 4 hours 45 minutes. Withdrawals can receive a refund minus a £5 administration fee if made by the published refund deadline.
