Event overview
The ALDI Ashby 20 is a 20-mile road race held on Sunday 22 March 2026. The course is an undulating two-lap route, described as scenic and run mainly on closed roads. The race is organised by Ivanhoe Runners as a not-for-profit event. The race venue is Bath Grounds, Station Street, Ashby de la Zouch, LE65 2GP. Pre-race headquarters and changing facilities are at Ashby Leisure Centre and Lido, LE65 1HU. The event holds a UKA licence (No. 30173) and a course measurement number (25/435). All finishers receive the Ashby 20 hoodie and a goody bag.
Entry, course limits and rules
Entries open Monday 27th October and close Tuesday 10th February 2026. Entry fees listed are £40 for UKA members and £42 for non-members. Maximum field 1,500 runners (initial entries up to 1,700). All entrants must be aged 18 or over. Withdrawals may receive a refund minus a £5 admin fee if made by midnight on Sunday 8th February; swaps and deferrals are not permitted and there is no waiting list. Strict cut-off times apply: 10 miles - 2 hours 20 minutes (gun time), 15 miles - 3 hours 30 minutes (gun time), with an overall finish allowance of about 4 hours 45 minutes; runners who miss cut-offs will be withdrawn and directed back or offered safe transfer. Earphones are prohibited except bone-conducting or medically prescribed devices; the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Visually impaired runners may request a free entry invite for a guide after entry. Bags should be left at the secure area at the finish; there is no bag drop at the leisure centre.
