18th Annual 5K Run/Walk – Fremont, CA
Asha-Jyothi holds an 18th annual running event in Fremont on October 11, 2026 at Quarry Lakes Regional Park, South Ensenada Picnic Area, 2100 Isherwood Way. The event program includes a medal ceremony for all children who finish the 1-mile run and musical entertainment at the finish.
The event offers multiple distances:

- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
Entry fees are stated as Kids (13 and under) $20 and Adults $30, with a $5 increase after September 28. Race packet pickup is scheduled on October 8 at Bhimavaram Ruchulu (40827 Fremont Blvd, Fremont), on October 9 at Biryaniz Dublin (6830 Village Pkwy, Dublin), and on race day at the venue.
Prizes are awarded by age category. The 1-mile run uses combined girls and boys categories for ages 7 and under, and 8 to 13. The 5K and 10K events use separate men and women categories with age groups: 13 and under, 14 to 18, 19 to 40, 41 to 60, and 61 and above.
