Asha Jyothi 5K - Fremont
Asha Jyothi organizes an annual community run and walk in Fremont featuring a 1 mile fun run, a 5K run/walk, and a 10K run. The event is presented as a family-oriented gathering and includes music and dancing after the races. Kids who finish the 1 mile receive medals in a ceremony.

Race packet pickup is available on October 8 at Bhimavaram Ruchulu and October 9 at Biryaniz Dublin, with additional pickup on race day at the park. Age-category prizes are awarded. The 1 mile combines girls and boys in two youth groups: 7 and under, and 8 to 13. The 5K and 10K use separate men and women categories with age bands: 13 and under; 14 to 18; 19 to 40; 41 to 60; and 61 and above.
