Event Overview
The ArtFest Half Marathon takes place in Moultrie, Georgia, and serves as a fundraiser to support programming at The Arts Center. The event is hosted at a landmark facility, the former Moultrie High School building, which was constructed in 1928. This community resource provides education in visual and performing arts, including dance, music, jewelry making, and theater for residents of Colquitt and surrounding counties.
Race Categories
Participants can choose from several different distances:
- Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile course.
- 10K: A 6.2 mile course.
- 5K: A 3.1 mile course.
- Fun Run: A 1 mile run and walk.
Course Information and Logistics
The routes for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are USATF certified. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the event at The Arts Center site. All registered participants receive a race t-shirt featuring the event logo and sponsors.
The event recognizes winners in multiple categories for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. Awards are designated for the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance. Additionally, age group awards are provided for male and female participants in categories including Under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+.
