Event Overview
The Run for the Ranch is an annual running event held as part of the larger Spring Fling & Backyard BBQ Festival in Downtown Moultrie, Georgia. The event offers three race distances.

Registration & Fees
Registration is open. For the 5K and 10K, standard entry fees include a shirt if registered by April 3, 2026. Fees increase after this date and on race day, with shirt availability not guaranteed for late registrations. The 1 Mile Fun Run has a separate, lower entry fee and does not include a shirt.
Course & Timing
Both the 5K and 10K courses are certified by USATF (certification numbers GA23016WC and GA23017WC). The races start and finish on 1st Street NE at the town square, near the courthouse. The courses share initial and final segments, utilizing city streets and a bike path, with the 10K extending further south before turning back. Race day packet pickup begins at 8 AM.
Associated Festival
The run coincides with the Spring Fling & Backyard BBQ Festival, a weekend community event featuring vendor booths, a pancake breakfast, a BBQ competition, kids' activities, and live music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
