Art and Soul 5K - Madison Bartle Scholarship Fun Run
The Art and Soul 5K is an annual benefit event held in Sullivan, Missouri. Now in its tenth year, this event serves as a memorial scholarship run and walk established to honor Madison Bartle and support local art talent. The activity takes place at the Sullivan Fairgrounds, located on Mattox Drive.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 5 km (chip-timed race)
- 1 mile (fun run)
The 5 km race is a chip-timed competition where individual medals are provided. Recognition is established for the top male and female participants in several age categories, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 plus, and overall winners. The 1 mile fun run is an alternative option for those seeking a shorter distance.
The event registration includes an event t-shirt, provided that participants sign up by the specific cut-off date. Race day services include on-site packet pick-up and registration facilities at the fairgrounds. All proceeds from the event contribute toward local art scholarships.
