Event overview
The Arrowhead Endurance Run takes place October 10-11, 2026 at Arrowhead Lake Campground in Johnston City, Illinois, about 15 minutes north of Marion. The event offers multiple timed race formats and has a registration deadline of Fri, Oct 9 @ 11:59PM CT. Finishers registered before the shirt deadline of 9/27/26 will receive event shirts. Each runner who completes at least one official lap will receive a custom medal. Buckles are awarded for 100-mile finishes in the 24-hour race before the cut-off. Overall winners for each race receive a special award.

Course and facilities
The course is a certified 2.07-mile loop around Arrowhead Lake. The trail surface is about 99% gravel with a short concrete section at the boat ramp. Elevation change per loop is less than 50 ft. Chip timing is provided by SoILL Racing.
One large aid station is located at the start/finish area and offers standard aid station food, electrolyte options, water, and hot food during the event. Aid station food is for participants only. Participants may set up a personal pop-up tent or aid area on race morning.
Logistics and policies
Camping is available at the campground. Several hotels are available in Marion and Johnston City, roughly 15 minutes from the race site. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries cannot be transferred to another year. Pregnancy deferral of 100% of the entry fee is allowed to the following year only. A discount is available for active military, veterans, and first responders. Littering or inappropriate behavior toward volunteers or staff may result in disqualification or a ban from future events.
