The Arrowhead Endurance Run takes place on October 10–11, 2026, at Arrowhead Lake Campground in Johnston City, Illinois. The event features a timed race format on a loop course.

Course

The race is held on a certified 2.07-mile loop around Arrowhead Lake. The trail is approximately 99% gravel with a small concrete section. The course has minimal elevation, with less than 50 feet of change per loop. The event uses chip timing.

Amenities and Awards

There is one large aid station at the start/finish area. It provides standard fare, an electrolyte option, water, and hot food options throughout the event. Participants with specific dietary needs are advised to bring their own supplies. Finishers registered before the shirt deadline of September 27, 2026, receive a shirt. Every runner who completes at least one official lap gets a custom medal. Buckles are awarded for completing 100 miles within the 24-hour race cutoff. Overall winners in each race receive a special award.
