The Arnold Gobble Gobble Race is organized at Arnold City Park, located at 2400 Bradley Beach Road in Arnold, Missouri. The course runs alongside the Meramec River and is described as flat and fast. Strollers are permitted on the course; dogs are not allowed.
Event formats include:
- 5K in-person timed run/walk
- Virtual 5K completed independently during the week of Thanksgiving
- 1/2 Mile Kids Run free children's race
Packet pickup takes place at the Arnold Recreation Center in the days leading up to the event. Virtual participants may pick up packets during the same packet window.
Registration fees for both the in-person and virtual 5K are listed as $34.09 ($30 plus $4.09 in processing fees). The kids run is free but requires registration. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and medals are awarded to the top three in each male and female age bracket: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & Over.
The event supports a canned food collection called Feed the Masses, with collected items donated to the Arnold Food Pantry. Fundraising progress is shown for the Arnold Food Pantry.
