The Army Historical Foundation with race provider Bishop Events LLC presents the second annual Army Birthday 6.14K on June 6, 2026, at the National Museum of the United States Army, Liberty Drive, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The race begins and ends at the museum and uses the multi purpose path along the Fairfax County Parkway.
The event commemorates the United States Army and the 82nd anniversary of D Day. Organizers will offer specially themed shirts and medals that will be revealed closer to the event date. After the road race there will be light yoga and stretching sessions led by an instructor from Joanna Barrett Yoga and Wellness, and attendees may visit museum exhibits, including Call to Arms: The Soldier and The American Revolution, which displays items from the original 13 colonies as well as England, France, and Canada.
Walkers and strollers are welcome. Registration includes an in person 6.14K option and several virtual options with choices for medals and shirts.
