Arlington’s Oktoberfest 5k Sasquatch Stroll is the second annual 5k organized by the Arlington Runners Club as part of a new Oktoberfest event in Arlington, WA. The race is one of the events that kick off the day of Oktoberfest activities at Legion Park. Games, a beer garden, German music and other festival activities take place at Legion Park after the race. All proceeds support local organizations through the Stilly Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Race details
- 5k on the Centennial Trail, beginning at Legion Park in downtown Arlington, WA
- 1 mile children’s "lil' squatchy's" run
Registration includes warm ups led by a personal trainer, a race shirt, and entry to the Oktoberfest beer garden where beer and nonalcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Children under 11 may run the 5k free with a paid adult; that free entry does not include the race shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
