Arlington’s Oktoberfest 5k Sasquatch Stroll

The Arlington Runners Club organizes the third annual Arlington’s Oktoberfest 5k Sasquatch Stroll as part of the community Oktoberfest in Arlington, Washington. The event takes place on Oct 17, 2026, and the course begins at Legion Park in downtown Arlington, following the Centennial Trail.

The event program includes warm ups led by a personal trainer, an event hat provided with registration, and entry to the Oktoberfest beer garden where beer and nonalcoholic drinks are available for purchase. German music and other Oktoberfest festivities take place in Legion Park following the run. Proceeds support local organizations through the Stilly Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The event also offers a free youth run called lil' squatchy's 1 mile run. Children under 11 may run the 5k free with a paid adult; children running free do not receive event swag.
