Arlington Bunny Hop 5K
The Arlington Bunny Hop 5K is a charity, family oriented 5K race and fun run/walk that raises money for local charities. The event is organized by volunteers and routed from Clarendon United Methodist Church in Arlington, Virginia.
Registered participants receive finish line medals, and age group place medals are awarded. A block party follows the race with activities geared toward children, including a bounce house and other family activities. Costumes are welcome and encouraged.
Past editions have drawn several hundred participants, with 638 registered in 2025 and a record 735 participants in 2026. Increased sponsorships and participant donations have contributed to charitable giving; for example, the 2025 event raised $31,000 for Bridges to Independence and the race has raised a total of $164,000 for Arlington charities over eight years.
Logistics notes published by the organizers include a cutoff date for guaranteed t-shirt sizes of Wednesday, March 25 to allow time for printing and shipping.
