Arlington Bunny Hop 5K

The Arlington Bunny Hop 5K is a charity 5K race and fun run/walk held each April in Arlington, Virginia. The event is managed by volunteers and donates all proceeds to local charities. The event location is Clarendon United Methodist Church, 606 N. Irving Street, Arlington, VA 22201.

Registered participants receive finish line medals and age group place medals. Costumes are welcome; medals are awarded to three finishers judged to have the best costumes. A block party follows the race with activities geared toward children and families, including a bounce house and other post-race activities for kids.

The event reports community participation figures and fundraising totals: the 2026 race recorded 735 participants, and the 2025 race registered 638 participants and raised $31,000 for Bridges to Independence. Over eight years the event has raised a total of $164,000 for Arlington charities. Organizers provide a cutoff date for guaranteed t-shirt sizes of Wednesday, March 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET; shirts after that date are distributed first come, first served at packet pickup.
