The event is the 19th annual Are You Faster Than A Ridge Runner? It takes place at Mountain Park in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The address is near the intersection of Mountain Road and Liberty Corner Road.
Event Format
The event offers two distances:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk
The 5K run follows a flat course that loops through the local park. Free parking and access to bathrooms are available on site. The event is sanctioned by the USATF Grand Prix.
Registration and Amenities
The entry fee is $35, increasing to $45 after March 16, 2026. Registration by March 16, 2026, guarantees receipt of a t-shirt. Members of the Ridge High School Track Team can use a coupon code at checkout. The event also hosts a sneaker drive, accepting old sneakers and non-metal cleats.
