Arch City XC Festival
The Arch City XC Festival is a cross country event held at Westerville North High School in Westerville, Ohio. Organized by the Columbus Running Company and Nike, this event serves as a season opener for cross country runners of various ages. All registration proceeds are used to support the Westerville North cross country and track programs.
The event features a series of races on a course that concludes with a finish inside the school stadium. This venue allows spectators to watch the final portion of the race from the stadium stands. All scheduled races are conducted with combined genders.
Participants can choose from the following distances and categories:
- 2-Mile Open (Adults and High School Grades 9-12)
- 2-Mile Middle School (Grades 7-8)
- 2-Mile Elementary School (Grades K-6)
For the student categories, participants are encouraged to register for the grade level they will enter in the following autumn. Middle school and high school runners have the option to form teams of three during the registration process. These teams are eligible for team scoring and random prize drawings for apparel.
Registration must be completed in advance as there is no race day registration available. The event provides on-site parking, and course maps are available for participants to review. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
