ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk : 5 September 2026
ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk takes place at the Irene Athletics Club inside the ARC Irene grounds in Centurion, Gauteng. Race numbers are handed out on the morning of the event at registration; there is no need to collect packs the day before.
Distances and standard online entry fees:
- 21 km Trail : R170
- 15 km Trail : R150
- 10 km Trail : R130
- 5 km Trail : R110
- 3 km Trail (half trail, half road) : R80
Special pricing: children under 13 and adults over 60 pay R80 for certain distances; pensioner pricing applies for some longer distances. On-the-day entries incur an additional R30 except for categories that remain R80.
Route and facilities: routes are marked and include water tables; a finisher medal is provided. The road option uses roads within the ARC Irene grounds only and does not go onto public roads. Trail routes are full-distance with no loops. Walking or hiking is permitted on several routes. Venue amenities include a clubhouse with coffee, drinks and snacks, plus parking and venue entry. Pets are not allowed.
Event policies: no refunds for weather or venue cancellations; online entries are not transferable. No race license is required. Cash, card and SnapScan are accepted on the day.
A Make a Difference Campaign lets participants donate their medal cost and additional funds to a year-end donation for an animal shelter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
