ARC Irene Road Run/Walk
The event is held at the Irene Athletics Clubhouse inside the Agricultural Research Centre (ARC) Irene in Centurion, Gauteng. The organiser is Revolution Trails' - Trail Hound. The venue offers a clubhouse with coffee, drinks and snacks and parking.
Distances offered:
- 3 km - R80
- 5 km - R110
- 10 km - R130
- 15 km - R150
- 21 km - R170
Online entry fees above apply for pre-entries. An additional R30 applies for on-the-day entries. Children under 13 years and adults over 60 years pay a reduced fee of R80 for eligible distances and are not charged the on-the-day extra.
No athletics licence is required and the event is open to non-club members. Race numbers are issued on the morning of the event; there is no need to collect race packs the day before. The road option uses internal roads within the ARC Irene grounds and does not go onto public roads. Water tables are provided on all routes and finisher medals are included with entry. Walking or hiking is allowed on selected shorter routes.
Pets are not permitted. Payment on the day can be by cash, card or SnapScan. There are no refunds for weather-related cancellations and online entries are not transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
