Riverfields Fun Run

The Riverfields Fun Run is an outdoor running event held in Kempton Park, Gauteng, at the corner of Braambos Street and Monument Road in Glen Marais. The event offers two distances and follows the rules of ASA and CGA. Registered athletes must wear the current year’s license number at the front and back of their vests and any issued race number on the front of the vest.

Wheelchair athletes and walkers are welcome. Baby strollers are allowed on both distances. Minimum age for both the 5 km and 8 km is 9 years. No roller blades, bicycles or mechanically operated devices are permitted on the route. No animals or listening devices are allowed. Traffic officers and race officials must be obeyed.

Timing and results are managed electronically by BOUTTIME; a timing chip is included in the race number. There will be a finishing video for each participant, instant SMS results, downloadable finishing certificates, and automatic submission of points for Vitality and Multiply members. Water points are provided at approximately every 3 km and toilets are available on route. Medical support and security will be present on event day.

Race pack collection is available at Harvest Place on 2 and 3 July from 11:00 to 17:00. Parking is available for a R20 fee and is managed by parking marshals.
