Arbor Springs 5K
The Arbor Springs 5K is a neighborhood run/walk held in the Arbor Springs community in Newnan, GA, with the start and finish at the neighborhood pool. The distance is 5K (3.13 miles) and the course winds through residential streets and a short golf cart path.
The route follows Arbor Springs Plantation Drive, Arbor Springs North Drive, Primrose Pass and a golf cart path before returning toward the playground and finishing at the pool. Water and sports drink stations are placed on Primrose Pass (approximately mile 1) and at the playground (approximately mile 2). Post-race snacks and drinks are provided at the finish area. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers.
Registration is free; registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes August 1, 2026. The event is limited to Arbor Springs residents and their guests. Optional donations are accepted to help cover race-related costs.
Organizers note multiple street closures for the event, including sections of Arbor Springs Parkway, Arbor Springs Plantation Drive, Arbor Springs North Drive, and Primrose Pass. Street parking along the closed course is not available. Parking at the pool is very limited; additional street parking is available east of the pool on Arbor Springs Plantation Drive and walking or using a golf cart is suggested where feasible.
