Arbor Springs 5K : 2nd Annual
The Arbor Springs 5K is a neighborhood run/walk held on August 8, 2026 in Arbor Springs Plantation, Newnan, GA. The course begins and ends at the neighborhood old pool and follows streets and paths through the community for a distance of 3.13 Miles.
The route proceeds from the old pool onto Arbor Springs Plantation Drive, turns onto Arbor Springs North Drive, then onto Primrose Pass to a cul-de-sac and a connecting golf cart path, before returning toward the playground and finishing at the old pool. A hydration station will be located at the neighborhood playground around Mile 2 and medical support is provided on site by Acorn to Oak Health operating from the neighborhood activity room.
Registration information notes that the event is free for residents of Arbor Springs Plantation and that a $10 registration fee applies to non-residents. Registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes August 8, 2026.
Road closures for the event affect multiple neighborhood streets: single-lane control on Arbor Springs Parkway, and full closures on sections of Arbor Springs Plantation Drive, Arbor Springs North Drive, and Primrose Pass; these closures include street parking restrictions within the affected areas.
