Arbor Day Run Walk
The Arbor Day Run Walk is hosted by Tree Fresno in celebration of their 40th anniversary. Based in Clovis, California, the event supports the development of greenways, trees, and landscapes throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Participants start at the Clovis Botanical Gardens and follow a route along the Dry Creek Trail.
The event offers several individual categories to accommodate different preferences:
- 5K Competitive Run
- 5K Fun Run/Walk
- 2 mile Fun Run
- Kids Dash
Registered participants receive a finisher's medal upon completing their distance. The course provides opportunities for observation and engagement with local nature. After completing the run or walk, attendees may visit the Clovis Botanical Gardens. There is also an opportunity to participate in a live tree planting located directly on the run course, contributing to the organization's milestone of over 55,000 trees planted in the region.
