Courses are marked with orange ribbons with black polka dots, reflective medallions, laminated signs, and blue and white checkerboard flagging for wrong-way trails.
Support includes aid stations spaced roughly every 3 to 10.5 miles, drop-bag service at specified locations, chip timing at the finish, on-site MedStar medical staff at the start/finish headquarters, and post-race food. Crews are allowed at the start/finish; pacers are permitted only for 50 Mile runners on the final loop within the Competitive Track. Parking is at the Competitive Track lot with overflow nearby and a park entry fee applies per vehicle. The event operates cupless aid station options and maintains trail etiquette and leave-no-trace practices. A Charity Beer Garden supports Wilderness Volunteers and awards are given to top finishers and all finishers receive a finisher award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
