AR Alpha Pi Beta Phi 5K 2026
The Arkansas Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi will hold its 21st Annual 5K on September 26, 2026 at 499 North Campus Walk in Fayetteville, AR. The event supports the chapter's ongoing philanthropic focus on children's literacy and raises funds for the Pi Beta Phi Literacy Fund, which supports literacy efforts locally and nationally.
Chapter members engage in a range of literacy and volunteer activities, including Champions Are Readers, Lunch Buddies, Pen Pals, Library Buddies, Pre-K Buddies, and other community initiatives. Members regularly work in Vandergriff, Leverett, Asbell and Butterfield Elementary Schools in the FISD system and with the Potters House pre-school program Wet Cement. Event participants may run or walk the course, and chapter members will be present along the trails.
