Appo High ASPIRA Club Charity 5K
The Appo High ASPIRA Club presents its third annual charity running event in New Castle, Delaware. This athletic gathering takes place on the 5K course located at the Michael N. Castle Trail along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Participants have the option to either walk or run the distance, with the event focusing on community support and outdoor activity.
The meeting point is situated at Biddle Point. To reach the location from Route 13, travel east on Cox Neck Road past Gunning Bedford Middle School and Southern Elementary School. A large brown sign for the C and D canal marks the vicinity, where a right turn leads directly to the gathering area.
Registration for the event requires a fee of $10.00. All proceeds generated from the entry fees are donated to the Delaware Small Business Development Center. The organizers maintain a policy that refunds are not provided for participants who are unable to attend after completing their registration.
